Initiatives
AI for Good - Native Language AI
Abu Dhabi AI for Good is developing a toolkit for training language models on underrepresented languages. The key goals are to preserve linguistic and cultural diversity; promote inclusivity and equity; and enable localized applications, for example, improving doctor–patient experience in healthcare by reducing miscommunication due to language barriers.
Emirati AI skilling
Launched in May 2024 as the flagship program of Inception’s AI for Good Lab, QudraTech prepares Emiratis in Abu Dhabi with advanced AI upskilling and hands-on work experience, with the aim of supporting the UAE's AI Vision 2031 to become the world’s most AI-prepared nation.
Fund for AI developers
G42 and Microsoft are investing $1 billion in a fund for developers, demonstrating a commitment to support the development of a skilled and diverse AI workforce and talent pool that will drive innovation and competitiveness for the UAE and broader region.
AI upskilling in Kenya
G42 and Microsoft will launch and operate an East African Innovation Lab in Nairobi, which will help startups, entrepreneurs, companies and organizations in the region develop and implement AI and cloud services. We will also collaborate with local partners to provide a range of digital and AI skills to create a future-ready workforce in Kenya, including AI and digital skilling programs for all government employees and a business skills program for entrepreneurs ages 18-24.
Elevating sport performance
G42, including Analog Sports and Presight, is transforming athletics through AI, mixed reality and data analytics, boosting athlete performance, coaching and fan engagement. In 2024, Analog sponsored the ADQ and XRG women’s cycling teams, promoting inclusion, health and gender equality through community events. Presight continued its UAE Tour partnership, using generative AI to enhance training, race strategy and performance for UAE Team ADQ, while championing professional women’s cycling and supporting national sporting excellence.
Promoting art and culture
Analog Entertainment transforms live performances through cutting-edge drone displays and robotics, helping to bring art to life and create breathtaking, immersive spectacles. By fusing imagination with advanced technology, Analog aims to reshape the future of interactive storytelling and experiential engagement, transforming how our society experiences and engages with the arts.
